I hadn’t been out to inspect the new snow this week, and finally managed to duck out today for a few laps. It was pouring rain the entire way, but I pulled into the Tin Can lot to find it snowing lightly with decent visibility. It snowed increasingly harder as the day went on and the skiing remained fantastic. There was a bit of a wind affect up high, but I didn’t really see much of it as the snow kept me down low. Typically just after I got done having a conversation about how stable we’d been finding it I managed to kick off the chuck pictured above on a steep roll way down low on Tin Can, which wasn’t a surprise. After the long sunny spell it was actually quite fun to do some storm skiing.
