After skiing two mellow lines we thought it looked good where you guys were, especially after so many runs were made. There was a lingering concern since the weather was so bad the two weeks previous. A dangerous day with nice weather, great snow, and an untouched slope like that. I helped dig your friend out and have been nervous to head back to Sunburst until this season. We spent a day up there yesterday skiing virtually the same line. The snowpack is pretty stable now, but the first run I kept thinking about this day. I thought I'd look up the incident, and found your write up. We made 3 big runs on that pitch in the sun, and I kept thinking about how fortunate Ian was. There was a lot to be learned from that day. I hope you guys are all well. Ski Safely.
